About Me

I am currently a mechanical engineering student, class of 2024, at Youngstown State University involved with on-campus organizations and committed to helping first-year students. This past summer I served as the ASTM International representative to the WISE Program researching space debris policy recommendations. Next summer I will be joining the Collins Aerospace team as an engineering intern in Burnsville Minnesota. In my free time, I serve as a volunteer varsity football coach assisting in operations and player development. After graduation, I hope to pursue a career in the aerospace engineering industry with a concentration in astronautical engineering.

* Created, designed, and managed our school’s tutoring program using Google Sheets. Created Google Script code used to automate and increase program efficiency and custom Google Forms embedded within the sheet.

* Managed our team of 20 tutors and 30 tutorees using email communication. Program demo available upon request

Through our school’s tutoring program I was able to tutor students for a total of 15 hours before my schedule did not allow me to do so later in the year. However, I have accumulated more than 15 hours in the tutoring program because I created and manage the program on a daily basis. I work in conjunction with teachers, administration, technology office, guidance counselor, students, and NHS members to make this happen. I have developed a program that has tutored 30 plus students on a weekly basis. Each day was a new challenge and I learned what an impact I could have by utilizing my detail-oriented skills. Countless teachers and students have told me I have singularly changed their lives. At that time the 30 plus hours organization was worth it. If I could just change the life of 1 student it would have been worth it. Also, to see the smile on their faces when they realize that help is acceptable was inspiring to watch

Lunch Buddies Program Coordinator

*Every Thursday myself and three other students go down to the Elementary school to have lunch with the younger students. We interact and try to be good role models for them while also being their friend. From two that have learning disabilities to three that are fully verbal and communicate effectively. While they may have gained a friend for lunch the truth was I gained a friend and lifelong lessons I still use to this day. This program showed me the immense power of reaching out a helping hand can change young students' lives each day. I hope to continue this program next year during my college semester.
